DEVELOPMENT OF FREEMASONRY IN ROMANIA: CONSOLIDATION AND EXPANSION

Freemasonry is an ancient Brotherhood full of mystery, with teachings and rituals that guide the Initiated on the path of Self-Knowledge and Spiritual Evolution. Within the Jurisdiction of the National Grand Lodge of Romania, the development and consolidation of this Order have become essential priorities to ensure progress and unity among Brothers. One of the main objectives is the establishment of new Lodges in Orients where the National Grand Lodge of Romania is not present or active, thus strengthening the presence of Freemasonry throughout the country.

For the harmonious development of the Masonic Regions within the N∴G∴L∴R∴ Jurisdiction, recurrent regional events are organized, offering Brothers the opportunity to meet and support each other in their Freemasonic evolution. Within these events, Masonic Schools and Seminars of Spring and Summer bring to the forefront fundamental Masonic teachings, enriching the knowledge and experience of the Brothers. Consolidating existing Orients represents another important step in this process.

PROMOTING FREEMASONRY AMONG YOUTH

We are determined to contribute to the formation of a new generation of leaders who will carry forward the traditions and ideals of Freemasonry. Because young people represent the future, we support and encourage them to discover their potential and become responsible citizens involved in society. Together, we aim to build a Bright future full of Wisdom for Romania and thus, for the entire Universal Fraternal Chain.

Thus, we are actively involved in supporting young people through various programs and initiatives. We grant material and spiritual support to the Order of DeMolay in Romania, both at the level of the Grand Council and at the level of Workshops in the Jurisdiction. We want to contribute to the training and development of young people in a fraternal and educational atmosphere. We support leadership programs for young students, offering them opportunities for personal and professional development. We encourage the spirit of initiative and the aspiration for excellence. N∴G∴L∴R∴ organizes special events dedicated to the children of members of Lodges within the National Grand Lodge of Romania.

We aim to identify institutional partners in the academic area, to develop joint projects that promote the values and principles of Freemasonry among young people.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN FREEMASONRY AND CIVIL SOCIETY

Started in 2020, the reconstruction process of N∴G∴L∴R∴ has entered an advanced stage of completion. We are glad that we managed to overcome challenges and consolidate ourselves in a stronger and more united manner.

In order to optimize our functioning, we are in the full process of implementing legal and administrative measures to help us become a more transparent and efficient organization, capable of facing future challenges with confidence and success.

We have created clear channels and ways of communication to ensure that all our Brothers are correctly and completely informed. At the same time, we encourage Brothers who, for various reasons, could not be actively involved until now, to join us, express their ideas, and participate constructively in our Masonic life.

It is important to be united and consolidate this noble Brotherhood. Through joint efforts and active involvement, we will strengthen our position and make a valuable contribution to the society in which we live. Together as Brothers and alongside civil society, we can build a better future for ourselves and for those around us.

STRENGTHENING TIES WITH GRAND LODGES AROUND THE WORLD

We are in a period where ties with Grand Lodges abroad are in the process of consolidation. We want to continue to be an active presence in the international Masonic world. Thus, we periodically inform Grand Lodges abroad about N∴G∴L∴R∴ activity and continue to seek optimal channels to strengthen fraternal ties between Romanian masons and those from other jurisdictions.

We aim to initiate and carry out projects with relevance in the international Masonic world, through which N∴G∴L∴R∴ can play an active and constructive role. These projects will address current issues and consolidate N∴G∴L∴R∴'s position in the international Masonic community.

Through joint efforts and well-defined strategies, we will consolidate our ties with the entire Masonic community and bring added value to the Universal Fraternal Chain of Freemasonry.
